Happy 22 mthsery to US!

Happy 22th Monthsery to us! :)

hmm.. my boyfriend is now rushing out his assignment.
my poor boy.
He must be under so stress now. :S

time really flies.
I still can't believe that,
in another two months' time, we'll be TWO!
whoa.. it's amazing, isn't it?

Recently, something has been knocking on the door to my mind and heart.
actually, it's alot of things lah.
but yups.
things that were preached during the last sermon,
and something someone said.
The other day, flor's fren, chan tong was saying that,
he's turning twenty years, think nxt year?
and i was like, "good what! know how you're going to celebrate yet?"
but something he replied, hit me hard.
'cause I had the same thoughts before.
and still having, just that, I haven't been constantly reminding myself.
He replied,"but, I feel as though I haven't really achieved anything in these twenty years that I've been living."

wellwell.. I'm pretty sure most people at one point of their lives,
would have pondered over this.
If you've pondered over this,
what've you done about it?
And if you've not done anything about it,
better start moving now, before you realise that time has already flown past you.

as I've said earlier, something said during last sermon,
has been on my mind.
and I really want to be a star thrower! :)
hee.. let me inspire you with the story.
perhaps, you've already heard of it.
I had long ago, even before the sermon.
but hearing it again at this age and at that moment, impacted me much more.
perhaps, everyone of us needs a reminder from time to time.
and you'll be amazed at the impact of it in your life.
Trust me :)

And here goes, (but let me warn you, I'm a bad storyteller)

once, in a village by the sea,
there was this boy who was always by the seaside.
There were many starfishes washed ashore and left stranded
whenever there came the low tides.
And the boy would gently pick up one starfish and throw it back into the sea.
then another.. then another.. then another..
At one point of time, there came this person,
who didn't understand the boy's behaviour at all,
He asked, "why are you doing this?
Look at the whole stretch of starfish across the shoreline!
Do you think you'll be able to save them all?
And even if you do, you would take a very very long time!"
The boy smiled and gently picked up another starfish,
threw it back into the sea,
and he said, "I know.. but at least to that one starfish I threw back into the sea,
I made a difference."

I think we all should be a starthrower.
And make a difference in someone's life.
even if it's just one person.
it'd probably mean alot to that person.
:)
